FEBRUARY 2023: Portugal

Fourth of the planned mobilities, held during the week of February 13 to 17, 2023.

The project continues with its scheduled activities, focused on the challenges of agriculture in our globalized world. Of course, others had also been prepared for mutual knowledge between participants from different countries and discovery of the culture and history of the Porto region.

The program has been developed as follows:

Reception at the Institute and at the Town Hall. Visit to the city's Tourist Office where an exhibition by the author Agostinho Santos was shown. Presentations related to raising awareness of the problems that agriculture generates with globalization. Golf experience.

Visit and activities at Granja Aveleda. Visit to the city of Penafiel and its municipal museum.

Guided tour of the city of Porto, including one of its wineries.

Visit and activities at the San Bento - San Tirso agricultural school. Visit to the historic center of Guimaraes and the castle.

Activities in the natural environment at the Vilela Institute.
